SHOW + ETHIOPIAN + BEERS

HEY YALL:

so this morning I found, magically, a Rickenbacker guitar in my basement. I actually found it Sunday morning, but i FOUND it this morning, in that I played it for the first time, and really knew what it meant to be a Rickenbacker, and what it meant to really FIND a guitar.

Suffice it to say I hope its owner does not return to claim it. But who can say.

POINT IS we're playing a show on Saturday! 1771 U Street. It'll be a stripped down, classic Sweet Teeth show, just Kelly and me. Except the possible inclusion of a borrowed Rickenbacker.

Please come, because the guys who set this up are trying to convince the owner (the venue is an ethiopian restaurant by day) that hosting regular shows is a good idea. I think it's a great idea! So come and see what's up and help pack the place.

HOLY BEJEEZUS

we're back.

i'll first direct your attention to our myspace, which includes a brand new song, "little string (winter version)." i recorded it at home this december. check out that organ at the end! yeah!

also, holy bejeezus, your grandma's sweet teeth is dead. we have a new line up featuring TIM GEORGE on guitar, ZACH on drums (drums!) and me on electric guitar. we might be affectionately known as "sweet teeth goes electric," as, if you've been keeping track, this is the first time i've really played with an electric. but that's a mouthful. so we'll keep the name, change up the sound, etc. all's well. better, even. maybe.

we have our first show in a while set for March 20 at DC 9. it's with two other rad bands-- Tiger and the Snow and Mumpsy.
so you should all come out. god it'll be fun.

also, stay tuned for information about our EP, "SUMMERTIME BLUES AND BOAT TUNES." it'll be out this spring. guaranteed.
