HEY YALL:
so this morning I found, magically, a Rickenbacker guitar in my basement. I actually found it Sunday morning, but i FOUND it this morning, in that I played it for the first time, and really knew what it meant to be a Rickenbacker, and what it meant to really FIND a guitar.
Suffice it to say I hope its owner does not return to claim it. But who can say.
POINT IS we're playing a show on Saturday! 1771 U Street. It'll be a stripped down, classic Sweet Teeth show, just Kelly and me. Except the possible inclusion of a borrowed Rickenbacker.
Please come, because the guys who set this up are trying to convince the owner (the venue is an ethiopian restaurant by day) that hosting regular shows is a good idea. I think it's a great idea! So come and see what's up and help pack the place.
